Belehrung und Mahnung Aufsätze und Reden zu den Wochenabschnitten und Feiertagen von Rabbiner Salomon Breuer, einem Schwiegersohn von Rabbiner Samson Raphael Hirsch. In zwei Bänden erklärt und erläutert Salomon Breuer die Wochenabschnitte der Tora. Diese Erklärungen sind eine Bereicherung für alle.  Sie bringen neue Aspekte und klare Ideen zu den oft schwierigen Bibeltexten. Ein gute Begleiter für den Schabbat Tisch für den anspruchsvollen und denkenden Menschen.

Im 1. Band sind die  ersten drei Bücher Moses und im 2. Band finden wir die Bücher vier und fünf Moses. Das Buch kann nur im Set erworben werden.

Salomon Breuer (1850-1926) wurde in eine bekannte deutsch-jüdische Kaufmannsfamilie geboren. Im Alter von zwölf Jahren trat er einer Talmudhochschule in der Stadt Nitra bei. Anschließend ging er zum Studium nach Pressburg, um zu studieren. Nach dieser Zeit wechselte er zur Universität in Mainz. In dieser Zeit wurde er mit dem Rabbiner Marcus Lehmann bekannt, der eine anerkannte Persönlichkeit des orthodoxen Judentums in Deutschland war.  Breuer gründete daran anschließend den Verband der orthodoxen Rabbiner Deutschlands. Breuer war ein ausgesprochener Gegner des politischen Zionismus. 1890 gründete er in Frankfurt eine Jeschiwa.

Salomon Breuer war mit einer Tochter des bekannten Frankfurter Rabbiners Samson Raphael Hirsch verheiratet. Aus dieser Ehe gingen acht Kinder hervor. Zu diesen Nachkommen zählten unter anderem der Mathematiker Samson und der Philosoph Isaac. Seine Kinder Raphael und Joseph wurden ebenso wie Salomon Breuer Rabbiner.
