Gross war der Einschnitt und der Schrecken der Reichsprogrom Nacht und der gerade noch möglichen Flucht aus München ins benachbarte Fürstentum Lichtenstein. Die Erinnerungen werden mit zahlreichen Fotos ergänzt und lassen dem Leser die Schrecken dieser Zeit verstehen und nachfühlen.
Ella Selig-Sommer (1930 in München – 2011 in Zürich) erzählt kurz vor ihrem Tod von den dunkelsten Stunden ihres Lebens. Ein Augenzeugenbericht eines Opfers des deutschen Naziterrors.
